CASE STUDIES : How NHIA promoted NH businesses
Case Study:
Stal-Mclane, Inc. - Manchester
In 2001 Stal-Mclane won Best Corporate Website for its very first
website design. That was a rush—unexpected and certainly
attention-getting. Three years later, we continue to get great comments
on our website.
Our two first-place awards at the 2004 New Hampshire Internet Awards
were also about winning…twice. Once for the actual design on
www.baldwinsonelm.com and www.cgsb.com and then again when the awards we
garnered won more website design business.
On the client side, Nathan Baldwin, chef/owner of Baldwin’s On Elm, a
four-diamond Manchester restaurant, has seen the number of visits to
his site increase dramatically, along with business. His comments:
“We’ve gotten a tremendous amount of exposure from the Awards Show. It
showcased our site and was the best invitation to dine with us.”
Community Guaranty Savings Bank in Plymouth, NH beat out strong
competition, proving you don’t have to spend a fortune or have a big
client to design a top website. From the bank: “It’s the thinking and
the creativity that illustrated what our community bank is all
about—People who know you. People you know— that won first place.
As the 2005 awards approach, Stal-McLane is currently working on six
websites, all business generated from the Internet Awards. For website
designers who want to showcase their good work and develop more…enter!!
