This site is visually appealing. Navigation is handled two ways: via
a left-side tool bar, and then properties may be searched via the
attractive image links. There is an abundance of information and the
site is easy to navigate and is fully functional. A truly stand-out
design and good incorporated content made this the clear selection. |

A classy presentation to match what looks like a classy place. All
I could want to know about the manor is in this site, from current
room availability -- a great time-saving feature -- to an inside look
at each room. The site moves smoothly to the touch, with a simple,
but complete, navigation bar at the top of each screen, attractive
design with pretty pictures that also loads quickly onto the screen,
and all obvious questions answered. And the touch of gold in the color
scheme plays off the name. But its the little extras make it, from
recipes to the e-mail alerts and updated note from the innkeepers.
The personal touch is evident, with family photos and messages and
no sense of snobbishness. I'd go! |

There's a homey touch to the Snowy Owl site, with a casual type face

Yet, it takes advantage of high-tech with its options for virtual

hypertext links in descriptive text that increases your chances of
finding related content. |

Well, this resort says its philosophy is to be nice. And you get that
sense as you move through its friendly site, which has quick, easy
navigation -- even the rippling water on the home page does not slow
load time-- a soft color palette and useful information. But the kicker
is the enhanced story of the campground, with its iconic illustrations
built into the text. Fun! |

Most solid usage of more standard design and useability criteria for
the Manufacturing vertical market. Good content, call-to-action, shopping
cart functionality. SEO at a good generic cross-engine level; better
than 90% of the companies out there. 100% table width good, as is
usage of color complimentary palettes. Three primary navigation systems
noted for main level access; ease of navigation and accessibility
was obviously considered important in site design. Offering PDF assistance
is solid worksmanship. No other site came in close to the number of
attributes needed for general viewership, compatability, navigation
and completeness of content for a general corporate/manufacturing
site. Good job! |
